EXS24

1.Download the HAPTICXX_EXS.zip file from hapticaudio.com.

2. Extract the contents of the zip file to your preferred location.

3. Launch Logic, open EXS24, click edit/Instrument/Open. Browse to your preferred instrument location where you have saved the HAPTICXX.exs file to open.

4. Logic will scan your system for the instruments sample content.

*Alternately you can save the HAPTICXX.exs file to your “”Macintosh HD/User/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instrument” directory. The HAPTICXX sample folder can still be saved in your preferred location.

BATTERY

1.Download the HAPTICXX_BATTERY.zip file from hapticaudio.com.

2. Extract the contents of the zip file to your preferred location.

3. Double click the HAPTICXX.kt3, kt2 or kit file to open in Battery. Or launch Battery, select File/Open and browse to your HAPTICXX.kt3, kt2 or kit file.

KONTAKT

1.Download the HAPTICXX_KONTAKT.zip file from hapticaudio.com.

2. Extract the contents of the zip file to your preferred location.

3. Double click the HAPTICXX.nki file to open in Kontakt. Or launch Kontakt, select the disk icon/load and browse to your HAPTICXX.nki file.

Our primary intent with the project is to provide royalty-free audio samples, kits, and instruments in (multi-format) 24bit audio, under a Creative Commons ‘Sampling-Plus 1.0′ license.

The concept for the project came after a few sessions and studio get-togethers spent sharing and creating sounds. We quickly realized that we both have a very similar approach and appreciation for music and sound.

While there will be ‘traditional’ music releases under the artist name ‘Haptics’, Haptic Audio will serve primarily as a platform for us to release both free and premium audio sample-content, limited-edition data/music releases, and other creative output.

We hope the site proves to be a useful resource for new and established artists, sonic-enthusiasts, and those who like strange noises.
